I was approached to create an identity for a new creative co-working space and apartments in the old Lancashire & Yorkshire Bank in Bacup.
I drew influence from the building’s distinctive tower in creating both the word mark and badge logo, while also referencing the simplest of creative tools, the pencil. Shapes drawn from the building’s architecture act as containers for imagery and combine with other bold shapes representing creative disciplines bursting out of the building’s structure.
