I was hired to redesign the 1874 Northwich club crest and branding with an eye to bringing the club forward to the digital age and attracting a new type of modern football fan. The crest is inspired by the two rivers that run through the town and draws influence from Northwich's Mock Tudor architecture. Extended elements use the stripes from local buildings all rotated through 74 degrees forming a visual identity used across merchandise, kits and social media.
